Anterior Pituitary Hormone

Anterior pituitary of our body
It is synthesized in the hypothalamus
Hypothalamus the center of the nervous

Growth hormone, Luteinizing hormone, Follicle stimulating hormone,
Thyroid stimulating hormone, Adenocorticotropic hormone and Prolactin
hormones involved in pituitary
has different function for the body’s regulation

The Growth hormone stimulates growth reproduction and in humans  regeneration.
Effects on our body as it increases protein synthesis and
plays a role in homeostasis

Problems may encounter with  too much growth hormone may lead to gigantism.
But when the body produces too little GH, dwarfism may encounter.

Thyroid-stimulating hormone also known as thyrotropin
stimulates the thyroid gland to secrete the hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine(T3).
Overproduction of thyroid hormone, hypothyroidism might encounter.

Adrenocorticotropic hormone is an important component of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and is often produced in response to biological stress.
Its function is to stimulates lipoprotein uptake into cortical cells
Its associated condition is Adisson’s disease produce insufficient steroid hormones like glucocorticoids and often mineralocorticoids.
There's also a prolactin that is associated with lactation
Lucky to have these for the mommies to give milk to their babies.

How great is our body it functions well to keep us healthy,
So let’s take care of our health to have a healthy body :)
